SUMMER
CELEBRATION
On June 25th we had a blast at our Celebrate Summer event, and the park was filled with families and kids busy making things, singing songs and telling jokes on stage, and showing off their music skills in the youth performers concert. It was a sunny, fun-filled day.

Volunteers Needed!
Join us every Sunday from 11 to 1 as we work/play together to keep the park beautiful and try out new ideas.
We're looking for volunteers interested in tending the landscaping and now, especially need STAGE CREW assistants on Saturdays for concert set up and break down. Got other skills? We need 'em! Come on over to do some good things with good people.

The West Central Park Project is committed to maintaining a walkable neighborhood and a resilient, connected community. We believe that having a beautiful space for the neighborhood to enjoy will enhance both the community and the economy surrounding it. How to Grow A Park
Growing a Park
The corner of Harrison Avenue and Division Street is one of the central intersections of West Olympia. It sat untouched for many years after old Rowland Lumber Company building was torn down in 1997.
Our original vision for this project was to build a lush pedestrian park that would allow for a creative and beneficial use of this vital corner. And thanks to the support from our local community, that vision has become a reality.
