What a fun day and night! Thank you all who came out for the West Central Park Project Family Fun Day and Benefit Show! We appreciate all of the love and support. That’s what it’s all about: our community getting together to share stories, life, fun, and music.
The Family Fun portion was the first time we’ve had kids’ activities before concerts at the Park. Did you come? How was it? We’d like to do it again next year so we’d love your feedback and suggestions for improvement.
We’re considering incorporating kid-friendly activities an hour before each concert. Have a fun activity you’d like to share with the community? Let us know!
Check out the great photos at the end!
Our next concert is July 20th at 7pm: Van Dylan and the Dead performing the music of Van Morrison and Bob Dylan interwoven with good ol’ Grateful Dead! Featuring Steve LaZar and Haven McInerney of Denver-based Juba Juba, and from Portland, Oregon, Rich Landar of the Campfire Boys, and Tom Wright and Josh Biggs of the Foolish Hearts Band– plus special guests!

Sunday Work Parties
Every Sunday, 10am-1pm come to the Park to help pull weeds, clean up, and harvest the gardens. Have a burning gardening question you need answered? Ask Dave, WCP Landscape Chair and Master Gardener. He’ll trade you answers for pulled weeds!
The Park is a great place to meet new friends and hang out with old friends. It’s never too early to learn the game of chess.
A happy concert attendee. Bubbles were a hit with everyone – young and old!
She shoots, she scores! Little croquet master. A great crowd, thank you!
