West Central Park is ready for our 4th Annual Artsplash! Coming up Saturday, July 29th from 12-7. Don’t miss it! The day will be chock full of local artists and musicians showing off their fabulous talents and crafts. Artists include Susan Aurand, Raelle, Seth Chance, Tuck Petertil, Steve Suski, Bil Fleming, Debbie Rowe, Kathy Smith, Arthur Rediske, Claire Thompson, Lauren Noel Smith, Aryeh Harif, Lauren Noel Smith, Karin Ward and Patti Scherer- Abear! For the music portion of the festival there will be local faves Mike Burdorff, Lisa Ramsauer and Evan Price playing solo, and favorite local groups The Hinges, The Lemming and the brand new Magnificent Sanctuary Band who will be honoring the late Jerry Garcia and all his incredible music. Don’t forget our regular Monday Movie Madness feature on Monday night, July 31, Despicable Me. This feature will be starting a little earlier as the sun is setting earlier and earlier, and the show will start at 9:30. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and get ready for a good old fashioned outdoor movie! Hot popcorn and tea will be served.
Tuesday is market day again with the West Olympia Farmers’ Market from 4-7. Get your baskets and don’t hesitate to head out the door on Tuesday afternoons to get to one of the freshest markets in town. Each week there is new music and rotating vendors and everything you need to stock your kitchen for the week. Support your local farmer!
