Lots going on this weekend at West Central Park. Tomorrow, Saturday, July 2nd at 11 am The West Olympia Farmers’ Market will be going on with new start and end times, 11-2, bring your bags and baskets and don’t miss out on the fresh produce. Tomorrow at 2 pm there will be the first in a series of free Honeybee Workshops presented by Ms. Heather Wood, local bee expert and enthusiast of the natural beekeeping style. Her first workshop is entitled Introduction to Natural Beekeeping and will cover anatomy of the bee, a species discussion, and the presentation of the colony as ‘One-being’. Don’t miss it!
Rosie’s Joint food truck has new hours Monday through Friday from 11-6! She will be cooking some of the bestest BBQ around, so bring your hungry tummy. Rosie will be closed on July 5th and 6th.
Get ready for our first summer movie on July 11th at 10pm! Sponsored by local business these free movies will keep you entertained each Monday in July and August starting July 11th with the movie classic Jaws! Popcorn and Rosie’s food truck will be available, so bring your blankie and your pal. Don’t miss out!
