Lighting Up the Night

Lighting Up the Night | West Central Park Project

Howdy park peeps,

It’s time for a long weekend in observance of Memorial Day and we so hope to see you this weekend! We will be having our weekly volunteer party at the park Sunday from 10am to 2pm. Come help keep the park looking lovely!

Calling All Music Lovers

My oh my do we have a show for you!! Did you know that we have an incredible free concert series lined up for this summer at the West Central Park? It’s true! We have shows throughout the entire summer, but there’s one in particular with an added dash of fun we want to tell you about…

On August 18 we will be welcoming Mukana Marimba, the Artesian Rumble Arkestra, AND a special visit from the Luminary Procession crew! Since they were rained out this year at the spring art’s walk, they are making a comeback at the West Central Park this summer! Join the party at 7pm and dance the night away under the stars, serenaded by great tunes and surrounded by the glow of the luminary parade!

You can visit our events calendar to see the entire lineup for this summer:

Help Support the West Central Park Project

Looking for ways you can help support the park and spread the joy around? Consider making a tax deductible donation! While our summer music series is completely open and free to the public, it’s our sincere desire to pay the musicians a living wage. And that financial support comes from dedicated donors like you! Hop on over to our donations page to support this project:

If you’re unable to give a financial gift but still want to help, consider donating your time! We’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with weekly work parties or special events! Find out how you can get involved, drop us a line at!

Have a great weekend!
