As always, we are going to be busy with our Sunday work party tomorrow from 10-2 working on the necessary maintenance for the Park which will include setting up a remediation demonstration station at the south end of the block. We have reserved a bit of contaminated soil from an mechanic shop site clean up, and will be using mycoremediation to render it harmless over time. We will be setting up a station to explain this in the Park.

Monday Movie Madness continues with a documentary on permaculture called Inhabit! Bring your blankies and chairs and best buddies and come to see a great story about saving the plant in a revolutionary way.  The movie will start at 9 pm and parking will be on the south end of the block.

Come help ensure that West Central Park works toward its mission of creating a public, open green space that can foster the recreational, educational, economic and creative needs of the community it which it sits.
