There will be lots of excellent movie trivia and games so you just can’t miss it! Hot popcorn and hot tea will be served.

Such a slice of vivid life with new music acts each week, and fresh ready to eat delicacies and beautiful fruits and vegetables, teff bread, raw food, flowers, crafts and so much more!! Come for the groceries, the music, the friends, and the visiting! It’s a bouquet for the senses so bring your bags and baskets and enjoy the market West Oly!

And of course as always our Sunday work party will be underway this Sunday from 10-2, and we’d love to see you there! LIght maintenance will include picking up litter, watering, edging, torching and mowing and other projects will include installing soaker hose and managing horse tail and spearmint. We have never used any pesticides or herbicides at the Park and therefore weekly weeding is a necessity. Its also a great way to share stories and make new friends. Bring your favorite spade and gloves and we’ll see you there!

Let’s all remember that this Park is only maintained by the community. The community is not some organization or some entity but people just like you and me. Just folks you know from the neighborhood are doing the maintenance and filling the board positions that the little non profit requires to survive. All of us have an equal opportunity to be a part of the care and management of this little oasis and to make sure that this Park thrives. That’s what makes this little half acre so unique. Smack dab in the middle of a high density corridor, fraught with excessive traffic, gas stations and convenience stores, we stood our ground and created a living paradise, one that we want our grandchildren to inherit. Will you come help to ensure that vision?

See you around West Oly!
