The busy season is upon us and we have a bunch of exciting things on the calendar for this year including concerts, workshops, movies, and more! We’re also picking up the pace at our weekly volunteer parties with the warmer weather just around the corner. Come join us this Sunday from 10am to 2pm for garden fun in the sun!
The Park Needs Your Help!
As a non-profit organization, we are 100% dependent on financial support from the community and volunteer power to continue our day to day operations and host public events at the park. But it’s not always easy to get the resources we need to make these things happen. The tough reality is that without funding and active volunteers, there will be no more events and eventually no more park.
If you see the value in this project and would like see it thrive well into the future, please read on to see how you can support the West Central Park Project. Come be a part of building a connected, resilient community in West Olympia! We need you!
Join the Board of Directors
The park board is a critical component of our organization. It’s this group of people that are responsible for all the inner workings including fundraising, administration, financial management, event planning, volunteer coordination, and public outreach.
We are currently looking to fill several open positions.
If you have experience in non-profit management, tax codes, accounting, project management, administration, or any other professional field that you feel might be beneficial to the organization, we invite you to reach out and attend our next board meeting on May 17, 2018. If you don’t have any professional experience but are interested in learning, we would love to chat and see how you might fit within the leadership of the WCPP!

Support the Summer Concert Series
We’re working hard to raise the funding to bring the West Olympia community a public summer concert series and we need help from generous park donors like you! Our goal is to raise $10,000 by June 2018 to be able to pay our featured musicians a fair, living wage. Please consider donating any amount that you can, however big or small. Every dollar helps! For a full lineup of this season’s bands, please visit our events page.
