This Saturday: Cool Breeze and Beluga!

Cool Breeze and Beluga

Come out this this Saturday, July 27th at 7pm to dance to the music of Cool Breeze and Beluga! Let us know you’re coming on our Facebook event page! Bring the kids for bubbles, chalk, and craft fun!

Steven Luceno, guitar
Lorree Gardener, bass
Steve Bentley, traps
Connie Bunyer, vocals, accordion, baritone ukulele

The West Central Park Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and pays these bands so a suggested donation of $10 is greatly appreciated! You can drop a ten in our bucket at the show or use our donation link.

Vegetable and Fruit Abundance!

Zucchini, potatoes, plums, baking apples, figs, and soon, grapes! There is so much fruit and vegetables in the Park and surrounding neighborhood. Neighborhood and Park employees and volunteers have been making pies and sauteing up zucchini. Come by and pick some up!

Also, if there’s anyone interested in brewing, you can harvest the hops when it’s ready!

Sunday Work Parties

Every Sunday, 10am-1pm come to the Park to help pull weeds, clean up, and harvest the gardens. Have a burning gardening question you need answered? Ask Dave, WCP Landscape Chair and Master Gardener. He’ll trade you answers for pulled weeds!

Gardening not your thing? That’s ok! We have lots of other volunteer opportunities!

Little Free Library

The WCP Little Free Library could use some children’s books! They’re always in high demand so anytime you have kid books to donate, think of us! If there’s not room in the little library, you can drop them off at the Park office.
