Join us this Saturday, August 3 at 7pm as The Lumen takes the stage! They’re a band of jammers, dreamers, songsmiths and rhythm-makers, with musical influences: The Grateful Dead, Neil Young, The Band.Bring the kids at 6pm for bubbles, chalk, and craft fun (and popsicles)! Let us know you’re coming on our Facebook event page!
The West Central Park Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and pays these bands so a suggested donation of $10 is greatly appreciated! You can drop a ten in our bucket at the show or use our donation link.

What’s cookin’ from the Park
There’s so much fruit and vegetables coming from the Park right now. Come out and harvest! Here’s what Miriam, our Executive Director, made this week from plums and apples from our own West Central Neighborhood. Plum jam and apple pie!
Harvest Party at the Park
Join us for a cider pressing and Fall fun at the Park on Sunday, September 22 from 1-5pm. More details to come!
We’ve started our planning for the Gala benefiting the park! Get your fancy clothes together and save the date for Friday, December 13th. We’d love your help planning and making this event a fun and succesful one. We’re looking for items for our silent auction. Do you have art, an experience, or skill you’d like to donate for the auction? Let us know!
Sunday Work Parties
Every Sunday, 10am-1pm come to the Park to help pull weeds, clean up, and harvest the gardens. Have a burning gardening question you need answered? Ask Dave, WCP Landscape Chair and Master Gardener. He’ll trade you answers for pulled weeds!
Gardening not your thing? That’s ok! We have lots of other volunteer opportunities!
