This Saturday: VanDylan and the Dead

VanDylan and the Dead

Come out this this Saturday, July 20th to dance to the music of Van Dylan and the Dead! They’ll be performing the music of Van Morrison and Bob Dylan interwoven with good ol’ Grateful Dead! Featuring Steve LaZar and Haven McInerney of Denver-based Juba Juba, and from Portland, Oregon, Rich Landar of the Campfire Boys, and Tom Wright and Josh Biggs of the Foolish Hearts Band– plus special guests!

The West Central Park Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and pays these bands so a suggested donation of $10 is greatly appreciated! You can drop a ten in our bucket at the show or use our donation link.

Come out and harvest!

The vegetable beds are beginning to burst with greens, zucchini, potatoes, fresh herbs, and more. Not to mention all of the apple, plum, pear, persimmon, and figs that are just hanging from their branches. Pretty soon, you’ll be able to get a full meal, right here. Come volunteer some time at the Park then pick your dinner!

Our lunch today: zucchini, squash, potatoes, and dill, all from the Park!

Sunday Work Parties

Every Sunday, 10am-1pm come to the Park to help pull weeds, clean up, and harvest the gardens. Have a burning gardening question you need answered? Ask Dave, WCP Landscape Chair and Master Gardener. He’ll trade you answers for pulled weeds!

Gardening not your thing? That’s ok! We have lots of other volunteer opportunities!
