West Central Park Weekly News #114

Hello West Central Park Friends and Neighbors!

Starting today, the WCP weekly news will be available in a new format that will make it easier for you opt out or stay involved. It will include ways to get on the weekly email list from our Facebook, Twitter and web pages. Let your interested friends know that it’s easier than ever to stay in the WCP loop!

Today a handful of brave and adventurous volunteers went out into the blustery wild to Black Lake U-Cut Trees to get our holiday tree for the Park.  Big thanks go out to those sturdy hearties and big thanks go out to Black Lake Trees for taking 50% off of the price for the cause! She’s a beautiful 16 foot Noble Fir and is currently on the Park stage, for set up at tomorrow’s work party. The work party tomorrow will run from 11-1 and the Park would love your help!  Your neighbors, hot cider and snacks will be there waiting.  The Park tree once set up, will be available for all to come and decorate.  Please bring some sturdy and waterproof ornaments to put on the tree from tomorrow until Christmas and the whole community can make it look pretty!

Let us know how the Park can improve its dedication to the mission of fostering the recreational, educational and creative needs of the community in which it sits. Come be a part of it!
